It has a mountainous orography, being the river the element that marks the landscape, from its entrance through Aragon, flowing into the Arenoso Reservoir and running towards the Mediterranean Sea.
A varied orography follows the river: from the sources and ravines of the Maimona, through the natural ponds in Fanzara. Unique natural places in Castellón such as those that can be found in the surroundings of Puebla de Arenoso, which becomes a paradise for climbing. Or Montanejos, with the Fuente de Baños, already known to the Romans and which today presents a modern hot spring centre.
The language regularly used therein is Spanish.
