Numerous municipalities within the Province - Date: 23rd June

The vast majority of the province's municipalities host celebrations on the night of San Juan in order to welcome the summer. Although these celebrations also take place in in-land municipalities, those that are better attended and more spectacular are those on the province's beaches.

The night of San Juan is a night of parties, in which friends get together around a bonfire on the beaches in order to welcome the summer with a good dinner, which tends to end with the traditional dessert "coca de sant Joan". After this the "correfocs" fire-runs and fireworks take place and people take a dip in the sea for the first time in the sea. The night comes to an end with the music from the street parties which take place in the towns and beaches in the province of Castellón. This is a magical night to experience with friends.
