Benicàssim – Dates of Rototom Sunsplash 2019: August 16-22.

The biggest reggae get-together in Europe.

During this festival, reggae music can be heard everywhere: the concerts start on the different stages at sunset; whilst the mornings and afternoons are dedicated to relaxation, performances and social engagements. Debates take place, as do meetings about reggae music and Rastafarian culture, films and documentaries, photography and art exhibitions, courses on percussion, African dance and capoeira, meditation and alternative medicine. Professional teams organise entertainment activities and games for the large number of children that attend the festival each year.

The festival lasts nine days and has a camping area which is popular with families.
