In contrast to the busy sandy beaches located close to the town of Alcossebre, very large rocky outcrops are found towards the north, alternating with small quiet bays of transparent water. This is a paradise for underwater divers, and sailing can also be practised. There is a sailing school at Les Fonts marina.
