The first traces of human occupation can be seen in the Forner hillock and Els Racons, where an Iberian settlement from before the 5th century BC has been discovered. In the Middle Ages, it fell under the jurisdiction of the Castle of Les Coves de Vinromà.

Economy


Torre Endoménech's economy is primarily based on agriculture and livestock, which employs the majority of the population, although there are also some construction and retail service companies.

Landscape


Torre Endoménech's landscape is typically rural, with a gently undulating terrain along which lie almond, olive and carob groves. The average altitude is 306 m above sea level and the climate is Mediterranean. The Vive brook irrigates the district, flowing between the landscape of cretaceous hills, as well as through the Sierra Penyagolosa mountain range and mount Molino.
