In summer, specially during the second week of August, the Bullfighting Week takes place. This festivity gets enlivened with popular dances and, of course, bull runs. This Bullfighting Week offers the traditional “salida” (bull unleashing), which is unique in Spain and has become a tradition in which young people of the town go to the bullring covered with a hurdle made by the mayorales and try to move the bull or the cow to the bullpens.
