San Antonio

The San Antonio festivities are held in the month of August. They are held on the first weekend after the 17th, providing said day does not fall on a weekend.

On the Saturday morning there is a “rossegà” (dragging). The horses bring the kermes oak with which the bonfire is made. In the afternoon the bonfire is lit and the animals are blessed. Afterwards there is a procession in honour of the saint. Following that, “coqueta” cakes, wine and moscatel wine are shared among those present.

Each year, the residents of one of the streets organise the festivity.
