St. Bartholomew Parish Church

Тодолелья

Built in the 13th century, it was later modified, transformed and widened in the 16th and 18th centuries. Various valuables disappeared during the Civil War.

Still conserved are a Gothic silver processional cross with rich enamels and a Morella punch from the late 15th century and the 18th century St. Bartholomew reliquary.

It’s a temple featuring a Greek cross-plan with a central dome, side entrance and a bell tower located at the foot of the central nave, which has a belfry with a semi-circular roof—an architectural rarity at the time. The recent renovations of the picturesque roof have created a surprising and even unexpected result. Given its location at the foot of the castle, together, they form a monumental site crowning the town.
