St. John the Baptist Church

Талес

Protected after being declared a site of local relevance, it’s dedicated to the town’s patron saint, St. John the Baptist. It was built during the 17th century although only the facade and chapel of Our Lady of Carmen are still conserved from that period.  The rest is from the 19th century. Tales had a church for a long time, the remains of which can still be seen today.  However, the fact that it was located in the upper part of the town meant it was hard for the faithful to get to it which is why the current temple was built
