On the outskirts of the village is the area known as La Almeda, which holds the ruins of the Ermita de San Juan, also known as the Ermita de Santa Bárbara since it was devoted to her at other moments in time. This ruined temple was built in the 17th century. It is located in a small clearing next to the road. Now completely abandoned, it has lost part of its walls and roof. In previous times, pilgrimages were made to this ermita, motivated by the belief that the waters of the nearby riverbank had curative properties.
