Located in the La Iglesia de Higueras square, the exterior facade of the church is made of masonry reinforced with ashlar or large stone blocks in the corners. The lintelled door follows the line of the roof, which is gabled. The facade features a belfry with two bells. Inside, there is a single nave with three sections and pilaster supports. The nave is barrel-vaulted with lunettes for lighting.  There’s a half-sphere at the front of the apse. It also has a choir with a wooden balustrade.  The lower choir features a round drop arch. The interior is decorated with pilasters featuring an Ionic capital. Marian attributes can be seen on the vaulting and apse.
