It is in the Palacio de Sant Joans. The lower floor is used to house the permanent museum collection composed of palaeontological pieces coming from the Ana palaeontological site.
This site was discovered in 1998 by the Cinctorres geologist Ramón Ortí, but it was not until 2002 when action was taken on it. More than 500 fossils have been recovered in the different excavation campaigns carried out so far. Its history, its findings and its characteristics make Ana a unique site, which is bearing many scientific fruits in the works published to date.
