Iberian town of Puig


Declared of Cultural Interest. - Benicarló

It is one of the most important Iberian sites in the Valencian Community; reached its maximum splendor in the s. V and IV a. In it interesting attic ceramics have been discovered, among which the kylyx is attributed to the painter Penthesilea (460-450 BC).

To access the town you have to arrange a guided tour with the MUCBE (Museum of the city of Benicarló).
