Roman baths of Santa

L'Alcora

The town of L’Alcora is rich in archaeological sites from the Roman era. The most notable is Santa, joined to the Bandejats path, which linked the Vía Augusta to the highlands further inland.

Recently, some Roman baths were located and restored, and inside them you can see the different enclosures that made up this type of facility, such as the caldarium used for hot steam rooms, the tepidarium or warm room, the frigidarium or cold baths, the oven, the cistern and many other rooms.
